General First Grade Informationnformat

Welcome to First Grade

We will be exploring, experiencing, and investigating areas of learning in a variety of ways on our First Grade adventure.

You Can Help

Read to and with your child every day.  Have your child read the take-home books and return them in a timely manner.  The B.E.A.R. Book (Bring Everything Always Ready) will be used as daily communication between parents and teacher.  Please check the B.E.A.R. Book DAILY as well as your child’s book bag.  The B.E.A.R. Books need to be signed EVERY NIGHT and brought back to school the following day.

Encourage your child to have a good attitude about school:  a good night’s sleep, a good breakfast, and a kiss good-bye BEFORE entering school makes a big difference for your child.
